Blanket order arrangements

The Library maintains blanket order arrangements for automatic supply of some books. Currently being received are new books of tertiary interest from Australian publishers located outside NSW, and books from the university presses of Oxford, Cambridge, California, Chicago, Cornell, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, MIT, Princeton and Yale.

Please note that, in relation to Australian and university press titles, multi-volume works, co-publications with another publisher and titles published in numbered series are excluded from blanket order arrangements, and need to be ordered separately.

The Library automatically receives all AGPS publications.

As a deposit library, it also receives copies of books and periodicals published in NSW. However, many NSW government publications are no longer distributed free of charge to universities and, therefore, need to be ordered separately from Departmental Research Allocations. A wide range of other material is also received on a gratis basis.
