Library resources and the catalogue
I just want to use the catalogue
You do not need to use an authenticated workstation to use the Library catalogue and many of the Library's electronic resources. There are catalogue, "Intranet" or express computers in all libraries, please ask to be directed to one.
Visitors
I am a student from another university
Students from other Australian universities can join the Library for an annual fee of $50 under the ULA scheme.

I am an independent researcher
Researchers requiring continuing Internet access are encouraged to become a member of the Library. Short term access can be arranged by filling in a Visitor form at the Information Desk.

Logins
My Unikey won't work
Your Unikey will not log you into a Library computer. Please use your Library Borrower Number, the 13/15 digit number on your student card.
My Library Borrower Number won't work

Privacy
What information does the authentication system store about me?
The Authentication system stores:
- your Library Borrower Number
- the date and time of login and logout
- applications you use on the computer eg. Word, Internet Explorer.
It does not store:
- which books you look up on the catalogue
- what web sites you visit
However, information about your web surfing may be automatically logged through other methods, in accordance with the University's ICT Resources Policy. To use Library computers you must agree to the policy.
