Help with Library computers

Emailing files

You will need to use your web-based email to email files from Library computers.
There are no email clients installed on Library computers.

Instructions for emailing using University WebMail

  1. Go to the University WebMail web site and login.
  2. Choose Compose from the Menu.
  3. Click on the Attachment button.
  4. This drops you to the bottom of the screen, where there is an Attachment box.
  5. Click Browse
  6. A Choose File box will open.
  7. Scroll through the directories until you find the file you want to attach.
  8. Double click on the file (or single click and Open) to move the file into the Attachment box.
  9. Click the Attach button
    Note. You must do this to connect the Attachment.
  10. When you have attached successfully you will be taken to the top of the Compose screen, where there will be a message which says "Added an Attachment".
  11. Fill in the rest of the email details - To, Subject - and then click Send.
