How to save a web page
When you have the web page you want displayed:
1. Go to the File menu in Internet Explorer
Choose Save As:
2. A Save Web Page box will open.
3. Fill in the Options
Save in:
Choose to save to My Documents, or use the drop arrow

to choose a floppy or removable drive.
File name:
Type a filename or use the default
4. Then click Save.

Internet Explorer gives 4 different options for saving web pages:

| Web Archive, single file (*.mht) | |
| Web Page, HTML only (*.html) | |
| Text file (*.txt) | |
Web Page, complete saves one HTML file, plus the images and any other files in a directory.
Web Archive, single file, saves all of the text, HTML and images in a single file with the extension .mht
Web Page, HTML only saves just the HTML page, with no images or related files
Text file only saves the text of the page.
Downloading
Library workstations allow you to save files onto the hard drive or onto removable drives, so that you can take the information away.
Clients can use floppy disks or USB Flash drives to remove saved files.
