How to find journals catalogued as books
Some journals are catalogued as books. This means each volume dealing with a separate topic is classified in the same way as books are, rather than being kept together as a journal. You can still find them in the catalogue, but not with the Journal search.
Finding individual volumes
- Choose Advanced Keyword search or Title search.
- Type the name of the journal and add the volume number if you have it.
- Click the Search button

- an Advanced Keyword search with volume number for Vienna Circle collection and 22
- a Title search for Annals Of The New York Academy Of Sciences will give a list of all the volumes
