MyLibrary
MyLibrary is your personal login to the Library catalogue. It allows you to login and check and renew your loans online.
MyLibrary uses your surname and Library Borrower Number - the 15 digit number on your student card.
Please note. Your Library Borrower Number is not your Unikey or Student number.
Don't forget to Logout when you have finished.
Borrowing
Once you are logged into MyLibrary, you can view the list of items you have out on loan, see when they are due and how many times they have been renewed. You can renewing items, where available.
You can view and manage items you have put on hold.
You can also see your overdues and fines. Once you know your fine amount, you can link through to the online fine payments system and pay your fine with a credit card or extro account.
Searching
Preferred Searches
You can save commonly-used searches to be run at a later date. Search the catalogue and then when you see the results screen, select 'Click to save current search strategy'.
Up to ten preferred searches can be saved.
Email Alerts
Preferred searches can be set to run automatically on a weekly basis. The results of the search is emailed to you.
To activate this feature, click 'Mark for Email' beside your preferred search, then click 'Update List'.
Bookings
Some libraries offer bookings of Reserve items. If you have booked a Reserve item, this will be displayed in MyLibrary, with the date and time of the booking.
