About Summon Beta!

Summon is a simple and fast search engine that helps you discover relevant information from the University of Sydney Library collections, including our print and electronic journals and books, and citations from bibliographic databases.

For best results:

• To search for phrases (words next to each other), use double quotes (eg, "I sing the body electric").
• Refine your Search with the options on the left of the results screen. You can:
  • Limit to items from scholarly publications, or Limit to items with full text online.
  • Select Content Types or Subject Terms. Click more options to exclude Content Types or Subject Terms.
  • Select Publication Date or Library Location
• For a more specific search, eg, by author or title, use the Advanced Search link inside Summon.
• See the Help link inside Summon for more search tips to make your search more precise.
