- ProQuest Central e-journal collection
A large multi-disciplinary database including full-text journals, with indexing and abstracts for more, in the subject areas of humanities, social sciences, education, health and medical, science and technology and business and management.
Which e-journals are available in Proquest Central?
Check if the specific titles you want are available in Proquest Central by searching the catalogue for the title, then ensure that there is a link to the journal which says "Full text available from Proquest Central". Check the access dates in the link text to ensure that there is no embargo on the current content, eg "1996 to 3 months ago" means the most recent three months are not available on Proquest Central.
Note that with an Alumni login, you will need to login via the link to Proquest Central above, not via the links in the catalogue. - Scopus
Scopus is a large multidisciplinary database that provides citation analysis of authors and subject areas.
Please note that the "View at Publisher" and "Check Library" links will not allow Alumni Library members to access the full text.
Full text access is restricted to current students and staff, however Alumni Library Members may view References and Abstracts.
- Online subject-based resources
