I have added the EndNote X toolbar, but it doesn't appear each time I start Word.

Occasionally, when EndNote is installed it does not install the EndNote toolbar into Word. The FAQ item Adding the EndNote X toolbar and submenu will tell you how to do this.

In addition to this, in order to have the toolbar appear on the Word desktop each time you start Word it may be necessary to copy the two toolbar files into your Word Startup folder. To find out how to do this, see Question 7 on the Endnote.com FAQ site:

CWYW 1: After installing EndNote and opening Microsoft Word, I do not see the EndNote toolbar or commands under the Tools menu. How can I fix this?
