Try OvidSP - the new Ovid search interface

- Ovid has introduced a new search interface called OvidSP .
- Auto alerts previously saved in any of the Ovid databases have been transferred to OvidSP.
OvidSP enhanced features include:
- Choice of search: Basic Search, Find Citation, Subject Search, Search Fields, or Advanced Search, the "classic". Ovid search.
- Easier to access abstracts and to re-sort results.
- Easier to set up alerting tools using RSS feeds and eTOCS.
- A Notepad to annotate individual articles in your search results (once signed-in to your Personal Account).
- Sign-in to your Personal Account at the beginning of each session, and you will be returned to your last search session each time.
- One-hour timeout period.
"Classic" Ovid search syntax is still available on the Advanced Search tab in OvidSP.
- Use the Advanced Search tab to do command line searching, and to search using Ovid's Mapping function.
- This improves searching in complex databases that have a thesaurus or tree structure, e.g Medline - best for researchers
