Off-campus access problems?
If you experience problems logging in, first:
- Delete your browser cookies and cache/temporary internet files, (in Internet Explorer: Tools > Internet Options > click Delete Cookies, and Delete Files). Close all browser windows, then re-open the browser.
- If you are using a bookmark to access the Library webpages or a specific resource, delete the bookmark and start afresh by going directly to the Library website.
- If your browser is automatically filling out or partially completing one or more of the boxes on the login screen, don't accept what it inserts. Delete the content and type it in afresh.
Problems logging in at the UniKey login box:
- Take care not to hit the space bar on your keyboard at any time.
- LPAB Students - If you have generated your own UniKey and need to check your password
- Contact the ICT Helpdesk
- Use your Library Borrower Number in the meantime.
- Medical Faculty students - your UniKey password may be different to your Medical Email and GMP password.
- Check your Confirmation of Enrolment for your UniKey ID and password, or contact the ICT Helpdesk.
- If you have lost your UniKey ID or password:
- Take some photo ID to an Access Lab.
-
If can't get to one in person, contact the University ICT Helpdesk and they will post one out to you.
- Warning: To avoid delays, check that they have your current mailing address. Update your mailing address with the Student Centre's Change of Address form.

Problems logging in at the Library Borrower Number login box:
- Ensure you enter your login details in the correct login box. Scroll down to the Library Borrower Number login box.
- Try typing your borrower number into another application such as Word so that you can check that there are no mistakes, then copy and paste it into the number field on the login screen. Ensure you don't copy and paste an extra space at the end of the number.
