Wiley Interscience: Problems viewing full text (PDFs)

Off-campus password prompt displays?

May 2003: Off-campus users are also being prompted for a password before viewing the full text, when they have browsed through Journal Tables of Contents to the item. To circumvent this, click Search Wiley Interscience (top of screen), and search for your citation. You can then access the full text.

Wiley also requires special cookie settings before you can view the full text:

Internet Explorer 6

1. Click on Tools
2. Click on Internet Options.
3. Click Privacy Tab.
4. Click Advanced Button
5. Ensure there is a tick in the box for Override automatic cookie handling.
6. Ensure the radio button is turned on for Accept under First-party cookies.
7. Ensure there is a tick in the box for Always allow session cookies.

Netscape 7

1. Edit > Preferences
2. Click Privacy and Security to display the drop-down menu
3. Click Cookies
4. Click Enable all cookies and OK
