Camden Library Collections
Camden Library has a specialised collection of some 30,000 volumes of monographs and journals in the disciplines of veterinary science, animal production and plant breeding.
Books are shelved in call number order. Journals are shelved in a separate sequence, also in call number order, and are not available for loan.
Reserve collection
The Reserve Collection is intended to ensure the availability of library items in high demand and on your unit of study reading lists.
To find out what items are in the Reserve Collection at Camden, check the on-line Library Catalogue by searching with the lecturer or course name/code.
The books on reserve are located behind the information desk. Write down the call number and ask library staff for the item, which will then be checked out to you.
Items are available for 2 hours loan. Overnight loans are available 2 hours before the close of the library. They should be returned within 1 hour of the library opening the next morning. There is a limit of two items to be borrowed at a time.
Please Note: Late return of Closed Reserve items attracts a fine of $2.50 for each hour or part thereof, up to a maximum of $25 per item.
