Graphic Literature

Graphic Literature is a recent addition to the New South Wales Board of Studies 7-10 English Curriculum. It tends to be youth-orientated, encompassing elements of both visual media and traditional written literature in comic strip, manga or graphic novel format.

1.8      Graphically represent aspects of texts such as the storyline of a novel or film, the structure of a poem, the stet of a play and links in a webpage.
1.18     Inference, figurative language and alternative readings as strategies for responding to and composing texts beyond the literal level.



This site groups together information about comics, manga and grapic novels. Animated feature films, movies and anime areoften published in a comic or manga format, so are also included in this list.
