The Audio-visual Collection is available for use whenever Fisher Library is open. Staff at the Information Desk located adjacent to Audio-visual are available to assist you with your query.

Microforms

Fisher AV has an extensive collections of microform items. These can be viewed and pages printed on microscanners located adjacent to the area. Microforms are not for loan.

DVDs/Videos/CDs

Fisher AV Reserve items are currently located in the Audio-Visual office and may only be viewed in the Library. Arrangements can be made for academic staff to borrow dvds/videos for class viewing.
Videos/dvds can be viewed on players in the Library and there is a viewing room for larger groups. It is advisable to book in advance for the use of dvd/videos and dvd/video players. This can be done in person or by phone during office hours (9351 2993 or 9351 2994). Dvds/Videos can be viewed after office hours- please ask at the Information Desk for assistance.
Only video/dvds from our collection may be viewed in the Library.

Fisher AV items are shelved with other audio-visual items outside the Audio-visual office. These may be borrowed for 8 weeks with renewals, unless recalled.
Inter-library loans

Interlibrary loans from this collection are available for loan within the Sydney metropolitan area. To arrange an Inter-library loan, contact supply@library.usyd.edu.au  or 9351 2993 with at least one days' notice
