Collections

The Fisher collection aims to provide resources in a variety of formats for the staff and students of the Faculty of Arts, Education and Social Work, School of Business and some schools and departments in the Faculty of Science (including Psychology). It is located on Floors 3-4 and 6-9 of the Stack wing and items generally may be borrowed for 8 weeks, unless recalled. You may place a hold on items on loan by using the "Request Item" button in the catalogue record.

New titles

TItles recently added to the Library's Collection.

Compactus

Part of the new development on level 1 of Fisher Library, anticipated to be open by the beginning of February 2012. Please ask staff for assistance to locate items until that date

Microforms

Microforms are currently shelved on Floors 2 (000-812) and 9 (813-999). They will soon be moved to the Compactus Collection on Floor 1.

Reference

A small collection is located in the 2 Hour Collection on Level 3. It is not for loan.

2 Hour Collection

Fisher 2 Hour is located on Level 3 of Fisher Library. The collection contains books, videos, CD's and DVDs. Book chapters and journal articles are available online through the catalogue.

Facilities in Fisher 2 Hour include library catalogue computers, study desks, photocopiers and multimedia equipment for listening to CDs and viewing videos or DVDs.
