Nursing Library Collections

General collection

The Nursing Library's online and print collections of books, dvds, journals etc cover nursing and allied health subject areas. Access is via the Library catalogue.

Reference collection

Reference e-books are available from the Nursing & Midwifery Subject Guide and via the library catalogue.

Print reference materials include dictionaries, encyclopaedias, bibliographies, indexes, directories, manuals, atlases and guides, and are available on the Reference shelves.

Online databases and journal articles

Reserve collection

e-Reserve provides online journal articles and book chapters for essential course reading lists.

Print Reserve consists of high demand books, usually on course reading lists. Books or book chapters on Reserve are located behind the Information Desk. Items are available for 2 hour loan.

To locate items in the Print Reserve Collection check the the Library catalogue. Ask at the information desk for the item which will be checked out to you.

Overnight loans are available 2 hours before the close of the library. They must be returned by 10am the next morning.
Two items may be borrowed at a time.
