Biographical Notes
Rex T. Armitage was born in Sydney. He was educated at Sydney Grammar School and later worked as a jackeroo, wool-classer and public servant. After serving in the Australian Army during the Second World War he joined the Salvation Army for 9 years.
Scope and Content Note
The Rex Armitage Collection comprises manuscripts and a typescript by Rex Armitage and correspondence. Most of the material is undated, with the exception of a short story published in Smith's Weekly in 1931.
