What is the H Index?
The H Index is a feature available on Web of Science.
It was proposed by J.E Hirsh, a physicist from University of California as a single number metric that measures impact of research output by combining quality with quantity.

An H-index of 39 means the author has published 39 articles that have at least 39 citations.
