Undergraduates

The contents form an online tutorial recommended for all new students. It will probably take you about two hours to complete. You can do it in your own time and come back to the site as many times as you would like to.

In some units of study, you may be required to complete this tutorial before your first assessment task is due. Your lecturer or tutor will tell you if this applies in your units.

Take the time to examine the full suite of online tutorials offered by the library.

In 2014, new services will be offered to undergraduates such as requesting books from some Australian university libraries (July). By learning to use the full functionality of our website, you will be able to keep abreast of the latest developments.

Honours and Higher Degree students

The site contains a module Document Delivery and Interlibrary Loans which is a service provided for honours and postgraduate students. This module explains how to request material required for research and not held or accessible in the University of Sydney Library. Our website is rich in information relevant to your coursework and research.

Please feel free to contact your Liaison Librarian if you need assistance or have any enquiries
