Now we are going to look at constructing a search strategy to use in catalogues or databases. Using the key words in your topic, make a list of synonyms and related terms and map how you plan to combine them using Boolean operators.
The grid below works in a similar way to the search boxes of many catalogues and databases. Related terms are grouped together with OR, while different concepts are joined by AND.
