What are Clinical Queries limits?

Clinical Queries limits are Medline search strategies developed by medical informatics researchers and designed to retrieve clinically sound studies.
When combined with your subject search these limits will narrow your search to studies which use the appropriate study design to answer your question.

What are PubMed clinical queries?

PubMed clinical queries are the filters on PubMed.

PubMed filters are divided into therapy, diagnosis, etiology and prognosis as well as sensitive or specific.
There is an additional single filter for systematic review.

Search and results

Open the database PubMed
In the left side index under PubMed Services click on Clinical Queries
In the category and emphasis boxes click on therapy and specificity
In the search field enter the term glucosamine and osteoarthritis and click on go.
The result is around 15 articles (this number will continually change in time as more records are added to the database).
