National Library of Australia. Bringing Them Home: Pilot Oral History Project
"In December 1997, in response to the first recommendation of Bringing Them Home: Report of the National Inquiry into the Separation of Aboriginal and
Torres Strait Islander Children from Their Families, the Commonwealth Government announced the National Library would be funded to develop and
manage a new oral history project. The oral history project will collect and preserve the stories of Indigenous people and others, including missionaries, police and administrators, involved in
the process of child removals. The project is one of enormous significance and the Library is very pleased to have a role in it."

ATSIROM is a collection of databases on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
(ATSI) issues produced by RMIT Publishing. Some of the databases are unique and
others are subsets of existing databases such as Family, MAIS and APAIS.
ATSIROM databases contain references to published and unpublished material from
journals, newspapers, pamphlets, media releases, books, manuscripts, speeches,
conference proceedings, Royal Commissions and multi-media material.
