Australian Bureau of Statistics (AusStats)
Under an agreement signed in April 2000 between the ABS and the Australian Vice-Chancellors' Committee (AVCC), students and staff of Australia's Universities have access to AusStats to support teaching and academic research. Full text access to statistical publications is available via this service including agricultural and resource statistics.

ABARE (Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics)
ABARE's web site provides access to a range of statistical data. In addition, many of ABARE's publications, which include significant amounts of statistics, are now freely available from their web site (after registration).

Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)
"The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations was founded in 1945 with a mandate to raise levels of nutrition and standards of living, to improve agricultural productivity, and to better the condition of rural populations. Today, FAO is one of the largest specialized agencies in the United Nations system and the lead agency for agriculture, forestry, fisheries and rural development. International Trade Statistics
Published by the International Trade Centre (ITC). The ITC "is the technical cooperation agency of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the World Trade Organization (WTO) for operational, enterprise-oriented aspects of trade development." The site provided access to general trade data from 1999 - 2003.
