Australian Commonwealth Bureau of Meteorology
The Bureau's site provides an abundance of weather information including warnings and forecasts for all regions of Australia, as well as weather charts, satellite images and climate averages (rainfall and temperature). Agriculture related information is catered for in the SILO section of the site and includes weather reports, rainfall, drought, temperature and seasonal climate outlook information.

Yahoo Australia weather (Yahoo Australia & NZ Weather)
A site maintained by Yahoo that provides information on the weather conditions in all capital and provincial Australian centres. There are links to flood information, global warming, maps and observations, meteorology, organisations, surf reports, tropical cyclones and weather phenomena in Australia.
Long Paddock
This is the Climate Information Highway produced by the Queensland Centre for Climate Applications (QCCA) funded by the Queensland State Government to assist clients to manage climatic risks and opportunities. The site provides sea surface temperature maps back to 1982, Queensland historical rainfall maps back to 1909, drought situation reports back to 1995 as well as future rainfall probability maps.
SILO
Maintained by the Australian Bureau of Meteorology, this website provides meteorological information for the rural industry in the form of weather reports and rainfall, drought and temperature data. Other inclusions are a seasonal climate outlook, solar radiation map, patched point datasets (PPD) and a data drill for interpolating sets of regional data.

Yahoo weather
A site maintained by Yahoo and Weathernews. This site is mainly focused on North America and contains weather videos, news updates, maps and images, records and averages, as well as links to storm centre resources, ski reports, meteorology, storm chasing, weather phenomena and the national weather service.
Climate Monitor Online
The Climatic Research Unit of the University of East Anglia, (U.K), provides this monthly newsletter on global climate. The site includes monthly regional weather summaries, climate data, datasets including an oscillation index and global or hemispheric temperature. There is also a climate current affairs page.
National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR)
A website jointly maintained by the NCAR and the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) and funded by the National Science Foundation. The NCAR conducts atmospheric and related research programs in collaboration with universities, to provide state of the art research tools and facilities to the entire atmospheric sciences community.
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)
The NOAA provides timely and precise weather, water and climate forecasts and generally monitors the environment. It is also responsible for the management of fisheries and the establishment of healthy coastlines. The site is organised into sections covering charting and navigation, climate, coasts, fisheries, ocean, research, research laboratories, satellites and weather.
TOMS
The Total Ozone Mapping Spectrometer (TOMS) is maintained and developed by Richard McPeters and Scott Green of NASA. The site provides access to a database of ozone data. Site visitors can manipulate a range of options for display of data including output as a data file or image, choice of satellite coverage and date range nominated for study.

The central concern of this non-profit organisation is global climate change. The site contains a wide variety of reports and policy analysis on climate economics, solutions and the environment as well as a media centre containing press releases, advertising and speech transcripts.

This website, published by Nature in 2002, focuses on climate change. It provides access to a specially commissioned series of articles on climate and water, as well as a selection of recent articles from Nature, "all of which illuminate the connections between climate and water in ice, oceans and atmosphere."
