After you have connected to Web of Science do the following:

star iconSelect the Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI)--1980-present and Arts & Humanities Citation Index (A&HCI)--1980-present databases.

star iconLeave the option as all years

star iconClick on cited ref search

star iconin the "cited author" box type the author's surname followed by a space then the first intitial followed by an asterisk, eg, renfrew c*

star iconin the "cited year" box type date, eg, 1972
NB For the best results, leave the "cited work" box blank.

A list of entries showing all Renfrew's works published in 1972 is displayed.
