Journal of the American Oriental Society

Other Ejournals

The Library does not subscribe to the online version of these journals, so the full text cannot be accessed via the Internet in the Library. The websites of these journals do provide abstracts of the articles though and some are received as print journals.

Archaeology
Produced by the Archaeological Institute of America, this is popular magazine rather than a scholarly publication. Table of Contents, abstracts and the latest news online is freely available on the Web.

Journal/Bulletin of the Canadian Society for Mesopotamian Studies

Environmental Archaeology
The Journal of Human Palaeoecology, published by the Association for Environmental Archaeology. A table of contents and abstracts for articles is available from 1998+.

Historical Archaeology
The scholarly journal of the Society for Historical Archaeology. It contains articles and reports on historic period archaeological research, method, and theory from throughout the world,although the majority tend to be from North America. Produced by the Council for British Research in the Levant, this is a fully refereed journal, devoted primarily to the archaeology of Palestine, Transjordan, Syria and Lebanon. The webpage contains an index and abstracts to back issues.
