Electronic Reference Material

The following reference material is held in electronic format. Some are available only from selected workstations in the Architecture Library and some can be accessed remotely. For more information on remote access to library resources see Obtaining Off-campus Access

Australian Standards Online
Access to the complete collection of current Australian Standards, Draft Standards, and handbooks (excluding Standards and handbooks with joint copyright).
The Standards Online are available throughout campus from the database section on the Library Homepage and also remotely.

Building Code of Australia (BCA)
The BCA is produced and maintained by the Australian Building Board on behalf of the Commonwealth Government and each State and Territory Government.
The BCA Online is available throughout campus from the Database section on the Library Homepage and also remotely. Password required.

RAIA Advisory Notes
Produced since 1964 by the Royal Australian Institute of Architects as support and advice on architectural practice matters. The roughly 400 individual Advisory Notes are in PDF format, but generally small enough to be saved on a floppy disk. A few documents are available in hard copy only.
The Advisory Notes are available from the Additional Databases icon on all Library computers. Click on the Architecture folder to access.
