- Type W to run Microsoft Word; this may be slow, please wait till it opens
- From the Tools menu, select Templates and Add-Ins
- Click the Add.. box, highlight the EN10CWYW.dot file and click OK
- Click the Add.. box again and select Files of type: "Word Add-ins" in the drop box near the bottom of the screen
- Highlight the EN10CWYW.wll file and click OK
- Click Ok again to close the Templates and Add-ins box; this may take a while
- Click Enable Macros at the next prompt and wait for the EndNote toolbar to appear in Word.
- Return to the EndnoteX menu and type P to install the paleo.enl files (optional). You can also use this menu to download any available filter and style files if needed.
