Knowing what sort of material to look for
Before you begin to search it is a good idea to work out what it is that you are looking for, especially primary or secondary sources. That is, do you need to look at the original text (primary source) or do you need to look at information that is written about the original (secondary source)? This may include journal articles and chapters in books.
Define the type of material you want to make the retrieval of information easier.
The Library collects information in a number of different formats including print/paper, electronic/online, CDROM and microfiche. Anticipate using a number of these resources.
