The purpose of this guide is to list relevant sites relating to Indonesian Studies on the Internet. This is not a comprehensive guide or gateway but rather a starting point to information in the area.
SEAsite Indonesia
Resources provided by the Center for Southeast Asian Studies at NIU northern Illinois University. It includes vocabulary lessions, reading and conversation sound files and text.

A range of interactive exercises, especially suitable for first year students, from the University of Victoria, Canada.
Ethnologue Language Database: Indonesia
A catalogue of languages and dialects spoken in Indonesia, with details
of the numbers of speakers of each language. Also some demographic data such as
rates of literacy, blindness and deafness. It is created by SIL International. There is also a language map and a bibliography of
publications.
Indonesia - A Country Study
A profile of the country produced by the Library of Congress. It contains chapters on geography, society, economy, transportation and communications, government and politics, national security and history. There is also a bibliography and glossary.
