Information Skills Workshops are held in the Medical, Dentistry and Burkitt-Ford libraries for current staff and students of the University of Sydney and associated Clinical School staff and researchers. They provide an opportunity to find out about services and resources available at the University of Sydney Library and to develop hands-on skills in accessing and using library resources.

Small Group Training in research and information skills and use of library resources can be provided to students, staff or researchers in the Clinical Schools and Research Units as well as in the Medical, Dentistry or Burkitt-Ford libraries.

Research Consultations with Faculty Liaison Librarians are available, by appointment, at the Medical, Dentistry and Burkitt-Ford libraries. These aim to assist students, researchers and staff of the University of Sydney and associated Clinical Schools and Research Units to identify and locate the resources and services needed to investigate or comprehensively research a specific subject or topic and to create effective research strategies.
