Google

Google is the world's premier search engine. There are links to over 3 thousand million pages with some 200 million searches per day. You can search web pages, directories, groups, images, catalogues, news search and universities. A new current project will have somw 70,000 full texts books online by May 2005.


Scirus

Scirus is a search engine developed by Elsevier Science and focuses on scientific content only, searching both web and journal sources. Journal sources currently include citations from ScienceDirect, MEDLINE, Beilstein on ChemWeb, Neuroscion, BioMed Central and Patents from the USPTO. For information that is not freely accessible online, Scirus cites the title, author, source and some lines of text indicating the content.
