Save Search as an Email Alert

Alerts are searches which are saved permanently for a particular database and are executed whenever that database is updated.

When they are executed, newly-added documents which match search criteria are emailed to the designated recipient.

In Ovid Medline Alerts are known as an AutoAlert(SDI).
