Saving References to EndNote

You will not be able to do this part of the tutorial without EndNote software loaded on your computer. Go to http://www.library.usyd.edu.au/databases/endnotex/getting_started/get.html for information about obtaining EndNote. See Endnote tutorial for more information about the latest version of EndNote.

The 2 options are :

Direct Export

This is the recommended option. It is available to those searching databases from :

• a computer loaded with EndNote software
• or one with access via a shared drive.

Import option

Use the import option when searching databases :

• on a PC without your Endnote Library ie. remote location
• on a computer without EndNote software.

References can either be emailed or saved(to a disc/flash drive) and then imported into your EndNote Library.
