Royal Microscopy Society
The Royal Microscopical Society (RMS) has a long and distinguished history, and has always been at the forefront of new ideas and developments in microscopy. The RMS serves the needs of its members in the academic and industrial worlds. It promotes both theory and practical application, shaping the future of microscopy. The RMS is involved in current developments in the fields of light and electron microscopy, scanning probe microscopy and image recording techniques. It publishes the Journal of Microscopy, and microscopy handbooks, as well as helping young scientists through bursaries.
