National Institute on Aging
A US based governmental organisation "The National Institute on Aging (NIA), one of the 25 institutes and centers of the National Institutes of Health, leads a broad scientific effort to understand the nature of aging and to extend the healthy, active years of life. In 1974, Congress granted authority to form the National Institute on Aging to provide leadership in aging research, training, health information dissemination, and other programs relevant to aging and older people. Subsequent amendments to this legislation designated the NIA as the primary federal agency on Alzheimer’s disease research."

New South Wales Older People's Health Survey 1999
The report of the New South Wales Older People’s Health Survey 1999 provides comprehensive information on the health and well-being of older people in NSW. The survey was carried out by telephone in late 1999 and early 2000 in response to the need for timely, reliable and relevant information on the lifestyle, health and well-being of older people. Over 9,000 people aged 65 years and over agreed to participate. The survey was funded by by the NSW Health Department and the NSW Ageing and Disability Department."
